UCL University College London

Institute of Cancer Studies: Paul O'Gorman Building

With 8,000 employees and 22.000 students, University College London is London’s largest university. The architecture of the UCL buildings is diverse and mirrors all the styles that have prevailed since the foundation of the university in the 19th century. In addition to the main building, which was built in 1828 and finally completed in 1985, there are objects from the Victorian period and modern structures such as the new University College Hospital and the Paul O’Gorman Building, which since 2007 has housed the Institute of Cancer Studies.
